Hunan Peking - Saint Louis

Best Chinese cuisine in all St. Louis district! Crab Rangoon and Shrimp Toast are both excellent appetizers; Beef Broccoli and Mu Shu Schwein are 2 of our favorite places.

If you're like me, you tried to like Chinese food. They try new businesses, one by one. You say it every time, that's the one. You're leaving every time. One of my friends brought me here years ago. Honestly, one of the best things that happen to my pallet. The food is great. Seriously, why can't anyone else freeze rice like that? The owners are friendly and hard working. If you have made it so far into this random internet evaluation, you need to go there and find out yourself.

That was my first time I ordered from here. Order steamed dumplings and shrimps fried rice. I don't know what it was cooked on, but I know the smell was terrible and I had to roll my windows down. I was hoping it tasted better than it smelled. They? dumplings were not at all steamed, simply cooked on the grill, and there is a kind of sausage in the middle. The shrimp fried rice was bland, but edible. It smells in the air after dinner in the house. I had to put everything in the can. Lesson learned.

Tryed this restaurant for the first time tonight, as recommended by a friend. We were delivered and during the price, speed and taste was well missing an item. They called and offered credit or food. When my kids wanted the product, I got the food. While waiting for a while, they doubled the missing order and added some cookies. I guess a restaurant knows how to do things right.

The fried rice was not very tasty and was dry. We waited an hour and forty minutes for delivery (but she did tell us it would be over an hour when we placed the order because they were VERY busy) so perhaps the rice sat for a long time? The crab Rangoon was typical good. What is not to love about fried cream cheese after all? The hot and our soup was YUMMY and just what the doctor ordered! The crunchy noodles that accompanied it were large and fresh. The crispy shrimp was great. The shrimp are big and the broccoli was perfectly steamed. The sauce is fantastic. We will definitely be ordering from here in the future.
