Casa Don Alfonso The Ritz Carlton St. Louis

We had my daughter's wedding there. It was a good experience up until I called on September 9th at 430am to discuss some extra changes on my credit card. The lady who answered my call, and refused to give out her name , was beyond rude. She certainly didn't belong there. Combative and unprofessional attitude. I am still waiting for the hotel manager to reach out to me to fix the extra charges!

Great hotel. Only problem is no complementary coffee after 9am. Come on guys get your act together.They pull the coffee table at 9... Geeez.Rooms: 5/5

This is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in the US. From the beginning of our stay to the moment we checked out, we were treated with utmost kindness by every single staff member. There’s also a speakeasy style cigar lounge in the hotel which you cannot miss. If you’re thinking of going to St. Louis, spend an extra bit of money to stay here you’ll be glad you did!

Attended a Mercy event. Lovely venue with huge beautiful chandeliers. Wonderful staff/ waiters! Most delicious dinner... super tender 1 1/2 thick filet, juicy tender halibut, mashed potatoes, carrots, broccoli, flavorful fresh salad, and chocolate raspberry mousse!Service: 5/5

Very nice, very clean, well appointed room. Quiet. Daily housekeeping. Polite and helpful staff. Only gripe is that breakfast on Saturday and Sunday is a buffet only. Cannot order off of the menu. It was a very nice buffet but too much food and the cost is reflective of the bounty.Safety: Quiet safe neighborhood (Clayton).
