My husband and I, vacationing from California, decided to go for a drive around the Ventoux. We did not have a plan for lunch so we randomly stopped into this place. We were greeted by Fifi, the owner's adorable little Jack Russell, on the terrace which had a spectacular view. Upon entering, the place was friendly, welcoming and very accommodating. We had 2 options off of their 'specialties' portion of the menu. My husband had a baked potato gratin, with bacon and onions. It oozed with a perfect balance of cheese and cream, the top was a perfect thin layer of cheese crust with 3 small pieces of crisp bacon just underneath. I had a veg gratin - excellent as well. Both came with side salads that were light and provided some kind of balance! The meal came with bread, we ordered a half carafe of red (I also tried their mulled wine ), overall, the meal was well priced - it came out to less than €50 and we ate cucumber slices for dinner. You'll want to skip dinner too! They also serve salads and several other options, too.Great food, view, service and price. We would go back anytime!
The view, the food, the service, the mountain feel, the fresh air - all around amazing! We adored their little dogs making us feel like we were at home yet in the mountains! So lovely to be sipping wine whilst looking out over Vaucluse and Drome! Take you breath away!
