La Laurentaise

Three of us went out for a meal tonight after a long and tiring day at Puy du Fou. We visited La Laurentaise where we were welcomed by really friendly staff. We elected to sit outside in the area across the road from the restaurant and were soon enjoying drinks whilst we studied the extensive menu. We were soon devouring scrumptious pizzas and then it was scouring the dessert menu, where we chose the Creme Brulee, and certainly not disappointed with the choice. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and could not fault anything about La Laurentaise.

This restaurant was recommended to us by the owner of the gîte we were staying at in le Puy St Bonnet just down the road. We highly encourage you to book in advance, as this place was quite busy. No wonder, the staff are friendly and the food is great. We all had pizzas, but there are pasta, salad and meat options too. There is a specials menu board and there is a good variety of food on offer. There is even a kebab pizza! The kids menu was delicious, judging by the fact that both heart-shaped pizzas were devoured to the very last crumb in record time. There was a good variety of desserts and the tiramisu was excellent. Generous portions and good quality ingredients make this restaurant stand out from the crowd. The staff speak English and they very kindly found room for us when things were already very busy. The food was great value for money. We will definitely be going back to sample some more of the food when we next stay at the gîte on our annual visit to the Puy du Fou.

Très bon accueil, Les pizzas sont tres bonnes et bien garnies. Les patrons et serveuses sont très accueillants, simples et sympathiques.

Très bonnes pizzas ! la pâte est savoureuse, les possibilités et recettes nombreuses, il y en a pour tous les gouts! le service a été rapide et sympathique. Le pizzaiolo aime vous faire marcher !!! Attention à réserver et à venir à l'heure !!! le cadre autour dans le village vaut le détour

C'est un restaurant italien génial l'accueil et la nourriture sont parfaite et en plus il y a en dessert une spécialité que je n'est jamais vue ailleurs je vous laisse les découvrirs.
