The food was excellent with very good flavours and textures, house wine well above average and the service impeccable. The restaurant itself has an easy friendly feel and we sat and watched the sun go down over the sea. Magic x
This is our regular "family night out" restaurant - it has the best Indian cuisine we have found in the area and the staff are very welcoming and attentive. Service is quick and efficient for a very competitive price. Parking is available nearby but this beach and port area is very popular so sometimes you may need to use the CAP 3000 parking 5-10 minutes walk away.
5 persons Went there on a Sunday evening didn't book received a warm welcome We were offered a welcome drink with the menus.Good selection of dishes and all quite clear in both French and English Small but suffisant wine list One guest had the Vegetarian menu 20€ choice of starter main and desert. The rest a la cart average dish is 13-14€ everyone took a main and rice. It was a present evening just felt that the two guys serving plus one behind the bar were a little pushed at times, and I do not like paper napkins and table cloth for a dinner ( may be just a personal thing) but this isn't a snack bar or lunchtime !For the food alone I can award a 4-41/2 as everyone really enjoyed it, just need a little more effort Well will go back!
My wife and I went for dinner after shopping. The staff were very friendly and helpful. But the food let it down a little. We had chicken tikka to start and it was nice. We ordered two curries one rice and a nan bread. It was ok but the downside was the curry was not hot. The reason we went to the Kashmir as the other one was closed for January.
Indian food is generally not great in France. A lot of restaurant owners will tell you that they have to moderate their use of spice for the French palate. This seems like one of this places, boring & mediocre. If you want decent Indian in the area try Havelie near the main train station in Nice. It's comparatively expensive but good.
