When my party of four entered the restaurant, we were seated by a young lady and initially impressed by the white table cloths and quiet atmosphere. However, our pleasant first impression quickly deteriorated when the waiter came to take our order. He rudely stated that he was only there to explain the menu, and when I asked for English translation for my husband, he refused and told me to translate for him. Despite the excellent food, clean environment, and reasonable prices, the service was dismal. The waiter took his time bringing my plate, served the men before the women, and only spoke to the men in English during the meal. He never checked on our satisfaction or offered coffee or tea. When it came time to pay, he was visibly surprised when my girlfriend and I took out our credit cards. His final words to us were, “Don’t come back, we don’t need you here. Next time go to McDonald’s.” Despite the quality of the food, I would not recommend Pasta E Vino unless you want your evening ruined by poor service.
Terrible experience will never go back.....If I could give no stars I would.....I ordered my meal from the menu and watched as my plate of food was brought to another table directly in front of me to show my plate to another customer.....did I mention that its still COVID....Now I know for a fact that this was apparently a long term costumer...he fist pumped the wait staff and was it was very friendly exchange....not his first time at this establishment.......After a heated exchange with the waiter the menu was brought back and I was asked to pick something else.....I refused and was told that he bought the food to his fathers table to show him???...Don 't waste your money......
I hadn't been to this restaurant in a long time, but I decided to go because they can accommodate large groups. Unfortunately, I will not be returning. Most of the dishes were burned, my husband's veal parmigiana was black around the edges and the veal was brown inside the breadcrumbs. They charge a high price, so the quality should be better. Overall, very disappointing.
I have been visiting this restaurant sporadically for a couple of years now, but I have ultimately decided that I will not be returning. The food is good, but it is overpriced. For example, a small bowl of soup costs $10.00. The staff does not speak English to the customers unless absolutely necessary, and the menu is only available in French. I found it unnecessary to have five different people bring our food to the table. Additionally, the constant interruptions from staff asking if everything is alright disrupt our conversation every time.
We eat here often and the sauces are so fine that we have been coming back for years. The trio of pastas that is always on special is delightful and varies greatly. Their soups are tasty. I often enjoy the chef's special, which is varied with sauces to die for. The creme brulee or the ferrero rocher cake are favorites with the kids.
