Red Lobster - Saint Joseph

I absolutely love Red Lobster. I come here once a year for my birthday and always order the Ultimate Feast. I also can't get enough of the cheddar biscuits.

The staff here is absolutely amazing. They go above and beyond to make sure you have a great meal. I can't recall a time when we've received anything less than excellent service or a delicious meal. They never make you feel rushed, even when they're really busy. There's a nice variety of options, whether you prefer your seafood grilled or fried, and the prices are reasonable. The drinks are also delicious and pair perfectly with the food.

We hadn't been to Red Lobster in years when we decided to visit at 7:45pm. The restaurant was empty, so we were seated right away. However, we had to wait about 20 minutes before a waiter finally took our drink and biscuit order. Our food took another 25 minutes to arrive, and we had to ask for refills on our biscuits and water. Despite the good food, the slow service caused us to spend almost two hours at the restaurant. We had to repeatedly ask for our check, and we were disappointed by the overall experience. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.

I sat at the bar, which was incredibly small and uncomfortably cold. I generally like cold temperatures, but this was excessive. I suppose you can't expect top-notch seafood in Missouri. Unfortunately, the scallops were off and I received a spiny lobster tail instead of a Maine lobster tail. Overall, the food tasted like reheated frozen meals.

I was so impressed with our experience at this restaurant. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and helpful. Everything we ordered was delicious, especially the Shrimp which was flavorful and perfectly cooked. The only slight downside was that the biscuits were a little overcooked. However, the overall quality of the food made up for it. We had a great time with our family and even the manager came by to make sure we were enjoying our meal. This restaurant is a fantastic place to have a relaxing night out.
