Amato's - Saint Johnsbury

The manager was extremely rude during our visit. In the background, the woman who took our order was yelling that we needed to call ahead. We called at 11:00 a.m., and he yelled so loudly that we had to repeat our order. When our order was picked up, he came over in a hurry and questioned us about where we found the menu. We will not be ordering from here again. We usually tip generously, but this experience was disappointing. The woman who took our order was very polite and apologized for not being able to hear me well; she was nice both on the phone and when we picked up. The day before, I witnessed the manager speaking loudly to the staff, complaining about a backup in the orders. The staff was doing their best, especially considering how busy it was.

Amatos receives one star because the manager was rude and abusive towards both his employees and customers. I felt so sorry for the female employee who was working so hard to take our order while this manager continuously shouted at her. We order from local businesses a few times a week and love to support them, but we will not be returning to Amatos as long as this abusive individual is in charge and allows such behavior towards both employees and customers.

The food was fantastic, but the manager was rude and appeared unwilling to take phone orders. When I asked for a menu, I was told there were none available. We typically order from this place at least twice a week, but I can guarantee we won’t be returning as long as this manager is in charge. Customer service is crucial, and we always approach with kindness, leave tips, and want to support our local businesses.

Good food for a convenience store. I wanted pasta when I parked my truck. Better than pizza hat pasta, that's safe. One thing I find strange is that the characters outside the shop advertising pasta, but it is nowhere to find on the in-store menu. However Pasta is an option on the kiosk, so I order some ziti with meatballs and sausage on the kiosk.

Order a sandwich with mayo and mustard with no salt and pepper just had ham, cheddar cheese, lettuce, spinach on it they made it completely wrong with oil on it and slat and pepper no mayo or mustard it was gross
