Jenk's Pizza - SAINT JOHNS

I frequent this restaurant often in casual attire. The food is incredible and incredibly flavorful. Not only does Nelken serve some of the best pizzas I have ever had, they also offer outstanding pasta, calzones, and much more that is all delicious. Not only is the food amazing, but the service is also top-notch. It feels like a family atmosphere here. Everyone is incredibly friendly and always treats customers with a smile. Nelken is definitely a must-try restaurant.

It's easy to understand why this restaurant was empty on a Saturday at 6:30. The service was terrible. We had a couple of issues, but the waitress seemed more interested in chatting with her friend than helping us. She didn't know the menu well (even struggling to spell "tortellini") and failed to inform us that salad and bread came with our meal. Her excuse was that we "didn't ask for it." Do we really need to specifically request something that should already be included? I won't be returning, and it seems others have had a similar experience. I would recommend avoiding this place if you don't want to be disappointed.

Okay, we have been to this restaurant many times and there are occasions when it is lively and everyone is on top of their game, but there are also times when it is absolutely chaotic! It's frustrating to wait 15 minutes just for a glass of wine because they only allow specific staff members to serve. The owners seem unengaged and should be more involved. The music should be louder and the atmosphere could be improved. They always have sports on TV, assuming everyone wants to watch sports instead of listening to music. Some of the food is decent, but overall, the experience could be better. I'm not sure if I will return, even though I have been here about 15 times in the last two years. It's disappointing that the atmosphere is lacking. It's important for the staff to be attentive and do a great job. It's sad to see good waitresses leave.

Pizza is always good, but this time we tried the calzone to turn it down. that was nothing but a stromboli in half a circle. I guess I'm just for a meat lover calzone with mozzarella and Ricotta cheese and even a kind of veggie, as paprika used. it was good, don't get me wrong. only not the typical calzone offer I'm used to.

Swung in for lunch today, having one of those days. I don't see very many people do this sort of thing oh, so here goes. Wanted to give a huge shout out to my waitress, even though I forgot to catch her her name. Receipt says All D. She did a great job, very personable and made my lunch a pleasure. Chicken parm and cheese sticks were decent as usual
