A few minutes after receiving my main course, I started to feel bloated, which I initially attributed to being overly full since it had been a while since I had gluten. Unfortunately, I ended up experiencing one of the most severe gluten reactions I’ve had in years, which is my telltale sign of gluten exposure. I've been feeling unwell since—my head is pounding, my stomach is upset and painful, and I’m experiencing “brain fog” like I haven’t felt in a long time. It’s been so long since I’ve had gluten that I had forgotten how much it hurts. I do want to mention that the staff is very nice, and I’ve never complained to them about my experiences. They are genuinely kind, and I understand the risks I take by eating out. **Original Review 2016:** This place is a fantastic local business! They offer a ton—actually, TONS—of gluten-free options, along with vegan and vegetarian dishes. Their gluten-free pita bread and the peanut butter fudge brownie cheesecake are simply amazing! The staff is incredibly accommodating and truly lovely.

We were out with friends who aren’t vegan, but it was great because everyone had options to choose from. I tried the meatless moussaka tajine, and it was delicious. There were also several vegan choices available.

When this restaurant relocated, they took great care to create a wonderful atmosphere. The decor is both tasteful and calming, and they have incorporated materials that help reduce noise—allowing for a relaxing environment where you can enjoy good conversations. There are plenty of options for vegans and vegetarians, and the chef is accommodating (I requested tofu or beans to be added to my eggplant tagine). The extensive menu has something for everyone. My main course was outstanding, and the baklava was both delicious and vegan. They also offer a variety of tasty non-alcoholic cocktails. Our waiter was attentive and very helpful. This is certainly a place I would like to revisit, especially for special occasions, even though I live in Fredericton. Updated from previous review on November 2, 2022.

The food is beyond amazing, and there is a wide selection of gluten-free options. The waiter was very knowledgeable about gluten-free diets and celiac disease. The prices are great, making it definitely worth a visit.
