Second Cup Café - Saint John

I had come to this location a few days in a row, and a couple of the staff members knew my order and were pleasant and joked around with me, making conversation. By all means, I think that I probably would have kept coming to this location for my afternoon coffees for a long time, because it's close to my house and the coffee is fine; however, I'm probably literally never going to go to this Second Cup again, because one of the employees? Hannah, specifically, was so sincerely mean to me that I'll probably just go to the Starbucks down the street instead. Why would I want to be served by someone who? clearly, has no professional composure or a will to see the same customers more than once? Hannah is the single least professional person that I've ever had the genuine displeasure of being served by. In all likelihood, she should not be allowed to work customer service? or, perhaps, anything involving people. She'd maybe make a good executioner, or a profitable therapist, or some other job involving making people miserable and/or profiting off of the misery of human beings she's never met before. Speaking to Hannah genuinely ruined what had been a very pleasant experience.

First time in this location. It 's super clean with a great melange of furnishings to capture whatever your mood happens to be on any particular day. The product offering is standard SC fare, which is always good. I had Chai Tea Latte, my current fav hot bevvie, and a gluten-free peanut butter bomb treat thingie. OMG. It was the bomb! And Merry (yup, as in Merry Christmas , she explained! , the high energy server, was hilarious! She notches up the service experience ten-fold! All-in, a 5-star experience!

Great customer service, and consistently great product. I enjoy my chia tea latte from second cup above all other providers. I didn't want to lower the rating because I genuinely do enjoy going there, but the drive thru does leave a lot to be desired

Forget ALL other coffee chains. We have been disappointed in SB as of late. First time at second cup here and drinks were PERFECT!

Staff is amazing, management however is a completely different story. I won't be back. Very disappointed. I really loved this store but after seeing how management speaks to people and talks about their staff. I'd rather see the staff work somewhere they are appreciated. Lately I dont feel like that even exists in Saint John.
