Mary Browns - Saint John

Alright, I would say this is probably the top spot for roasted fast food chicken in Saint John. Your alternative would be KFC, but this place is superior. The prices are higher, but worth it. I've had some issues with my orders being mixed up and it takes a bit longer compared to other fast food places. In Abbotsford, BC, there are better options like Popeyes, Famous, and Masters Chicken. This place doesn't even come close to those. However, it is the best in town and the prices are on par with Mary's.

I have been to this restaurant multiple times, and each time the staff manages to mess up my order in some way. They refuse to acknowledge their mistakes and instead try to make you feel like you are at fault.

This restaurant has only 2 people during dinner... When I asked to talk to the manager, I would then be told to talk to Jim Durning, call in the morning as this is the only time he is available. But he's never there to get the phone or on site. It is clear that the personnel are being mistreated and overworked. I was even told by an employee that another member would do sick except work to eat a price of chicken from the restaurant that was undercooked! I think I'll be sure to stay away from the food there and guess you're the same as!

His only one chicken, with chicken and perpetrator, food not better than other places and somehow expensive.

I 've been a fan of Mary Browns since I first discovered them 10 years ago in Newfoundland where the chain originated. Not sure what they do differently in their chicken preparation, but it is the best fried chicken I 've had from a take out. It 's...been a couple of years since I 've been to a Mary Browns restaurant but while in Saint John recently for a few days, I decided to visit. This restaurant is located in the rapidly expanding commercial area (big box stores) on Fairville Blvd. Tables are available but it 's self-serve from the order counter. The Big Mary sandwich is my favourite. Currently on special Mondays for $3.50. With a small taters and a drink, it 's easily a very adequate meal.
