As for wheelchair accessibility, the front door is problematic since it sticks and is made entirely of glass. I find it difficult to open from the outside, which is why I call for help. Once I’m inside, there’s plenty of space for mobility aids, and I can manage to push the door open from that side. However, I worry about breaking the glass with my wheelchair since I have to use my knees and the front of my chair to do it.
Absolutely fantastic! Although the wait took a bit longer than anticipated, it was definitely worth it. I ordered a calzone that was generously filled, perfectly baked to a lovely golden brown, and nicely pre-sliced for easy eating. Beyond the delicious food, the restaurant has a unique business model—profits go towards scholarships for students, and many of the staff members are students themselves (and they do an excellent job). In essence, you can savor amazing food while also supporting a small rural community. I would certainly label this place as a hidden gem.
This local pizza spot, linked to the community through the school system, serves some of the best pizza in the area! The staff is consistently cheerful and dedicated to providing excellent service. The manager takes an active role in the daily operations, ensuring that customers enjoy top-quality pizza, pasta, sandwiches, and salads. It's definitely worth a visit if you're in the city!
The entire family truly enjoyed the meal and the excellent service. We definitely plan to return in the future, even though it's an 80-mile drive each way from our home... but it's worth the trip!
