Upon arrival we are under the charm. The hut, far from the road, at the edge of the forest is very pretty. wood, ancestral decor, boucane and a very nice welcome, we are conquered. I forgot that we had to pay cash only... pending the 12:30 meal, we wait outside. It's beautiful, the temperature is pleasant. Well, no tree is pierced. There is no boiler and even less tubulour in the forest. But I didn't see anything like a family squirrel. The meal is announced. a bell rings, the explanations are given. the service will be in the form of a buffet and the guests invited to go to service. the first service consists of a pea soup accompanied by a small cup of cretons. It's good, but we regret that there's no marinated beets on the table, nor the usual accompaniments. The ham crust is proudly presented at the tables, the main dish is ready and we put ourselves online. Black beans cooked with molasses, omelette pieces in a reed, Rissolated potatoes, a slice of ham, sausages, a little soft bacon, yelling ears, this is what composes our plate. We're far from the overabundance of the huts I've already made, but we're told we can come back to use. The bines are very sweet, the omelette good but rather classic, the potatoes still smell the freezing bag and the ham, if it has been good in its golden crust, resemble the big industrial ham of the iga in my neighborhood. The desserts consist of a small tip of sugar pie, a grandfather with syrup and a piece of unemployed pudding.But the disappointment will come from the dash. Traditionally served on snow, it has a very good taste but we are warned that we are entitled only to a portion. the entire room passed before us and some did not get spoiled, so there is very little to serve the last arrivals. I've never seen a hut where this ultimate must-see pleasure was rationalized. the shot on the snow, it's like the signature at the bottom of the cabin contract, you don't have the right to miss it...The: bring your wine, your beer; the atmosphere; the framework; the friendly service.The - : the food a little ordinary, the ration of the shoot.
Why five stars? It's simple - if you want to have an exceptional dining experience, where thousands of hours have been dedicated to research in order to deliver the most delicious food, this is the place to go.
We arrived at the restaurant around 10:40 on a weeknight, but found the door locked. The lack of service prompted us to leave early without even placing an order.
Updated to 1 star. I asked for a double cheese, come home and its litterally just two beef patties on a bun and nothing else. Never again.
