And with quite a selection of affordable dishes like this, Thai Basil in Kitsilano is definitely a great spot for quick, genuine and delicious eats. I’m looking forward to my next visit.
Nice little place with a good concept- order at the cashier and get your own water. The rustic Thai decoration makes me feel like the owner feels homesick, but nevertheless it is very nice. I ordered the pad see ew, the sauce had a delicious sweet taste. Overall the concept is good but the order-yourself concept blocks the need for servers. They don't really deserve tips because there is zero service.
I love Thai food so much and have been a big fan of Thai Basil since a Thai buddy introduced me to Chef Goh flagship dig in the west end. Fast forward now they have numerous locations and rightly so. The food has the right balance of flavours and if you can't handle spice they are always willing to customize. The staff are always all smiles which is trademark of these wonderful ppl from the land of smiles. Try their pad thai bkk or pad gra pow for authentic flavours. Their Kee mao noodle dish is one of the city best. I love this place and highly recommend it.
Love this place. They always have your food ready within a short period of time. The foods super tasty too. Ask for level 2 on the spice level and feel like you're really in Thailand. Highly recommend cashew nut, it's delish!
Similar to the other Thai Basil locations. The food is great and service fast. I like to always get a Thai ice tea with my curry . Lots of people come to pick up take out orders but there are lots of seats
