Google does not understand this is a restaurant, lol. We've gone to Village Inn at Mackinaw Island as well. I'm not sure if the portions got smaller at all locations, but the plank broiled white fish dinner is much smaller in St. Ignace. The plank itself is about half the size it used to be, fewer vegys, just a breath of potatoes, and a smaller filet. I was disappointed. I was hungry, but it was just as good!! Really good! The waitress was really good, very friendly and did a great job. We'll be back. We love the U.P.!! Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5
No rooms were available, but the food was just the comfort food we needed! And what outshined the food was the service! Gail and Dee made us feel like family and Justin served up an impressive package Food drinks: Forget the hotel, stay for the food and lovely staff! Service: 5 Location: 5
Stopped here for supper, and was pleased with the choice! Planked whitefish was great. Fried pickles. Chocolate cake desert was a nice finish. Friendly, attentive staff, and cozy atmosphere. This was my first time dining in St Ignace, so I can't compare to other local establishments, but I would recommend the Village Inn.
Baked spaghetti is not what you get you get macaroni in a very thin and runny tomato sauce with cheese on top. Plate is cold so the meal is cold by the time you get half way through it. Not worth the money
