The subs and fries were deliciously hot, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The Western sub was filled with Philly steak, mozzarella, mushrooms, onions, lettuce, and tomatoes. I also found it interesting that the 14-inch sub was actually two separate 7-inch subs. Overall, it was a treat to be out and about, and I urge everyone to stay safe and enjoy their meals.
I don`t often eat at series type restaurants but just after undergone an eye exam,couldn`t drive safely so stopped for lunch at first restaurant I spotted,Mikes.Enjoyed a good seafood casserole.a glass of wine and tiramisu for dessert.Good friendly service.Received well prepared food at a reasonable price.For a semi fast-food restaurant,i give it a very good rating.A nice surprise.
I do not understand the negative reviews about this restaurant. I only have the opportunity to dine here once or twice a year, and I always anticipate it eagerly. This time, I went with some friends. We enjoyed sitting outside on the spacious terrace. I opted for the mini pizza with spaghetti, which was absolutely delicious. I particularly enjoyed their bolognese sauce. One of my friends ordered a side of garlic bread, which was good but could have used a bit more garlic. My daughter ordered a breakfast pizza and loved it. I also tried her potatoes, which were crispy on the outside and not greasy at all. Our waitress was very friendly. I will definitely return to this restaurant.
I used to visit Mikes a few years back, why I had high expectations going back there. They have changed the menus and are now terribly overpriced for the food they serve. I had a pizza and it was a big disappointment compared to old Mikes pizzas. Overprized and straff had no experience whatsoever. I will not be going back here, and I would not recommend it to anyone.
Mike's submarine has been around for quite some time, making it for me a lieu of choice by que quality of their food. In the last 2 years, their hospitality has declined, maintenance to the restaurant itself left to be. Result: in winter time, no heat during a normal weekday. Instead of closing the restaurant and fixing this, they let people in and eat with their jacket on, even eating cold .... The service has gone sour as client are taken for grated even though I've been eating there for the last 30+ years. Hopefully they'll restore a great ambiance that was present not so long ago. I've been to other Mikes around Montreal and it's the same deal. Take care of your clients Mike's .... Time to review how you do your business. I for one am not going back until I hear some change has occurred.
