For those who like the quick on the go sandwich, veggie salad (beets, slaw, carrots) or quick cold cut and bread on the side, this is the place to go.Be aware, selection is small, only a few cold cuts, "rillettes" and terrines are available but you can feel the love and passion that goes into making each of those products. The owner puts pride in his own work and in selecting fresh, local, independent, high quality and flavorful products and it shows in every bite you will take from his food. Try their salami or ham cold cuts, you won't be disappointed. They also have a butcher counter which is always filled with a selection of fresh sausage, beef and select other meats. If you go early enough, you should be able to pick up your fresh baguette and a dessert. The staff is always happy, friendly and helpful. I hope you enjoy it as much as I.Une jolie petite charcuterie qui offre aussi des repas rapides pour le midi.
Very friendly and wonderful staff, great food. It is not a restaurant, but more of a french deli, (so homemade cold cuts, pates, sausages) but they have sandwiches and sides (coleslaw, beet salad, etc.).Not normally a fan of cold cuts from the grocery store but after being given a sample of theirs I try to make it a point to visit there when I'm in the area to take home their assortments of cuts and pates. They also have homemade sweets on rotation.Have not tried the sweets or marinated meats but everything else was fantastic.
This restaurant is a great choice if you're looking for a beer escape. The service and food are both excellent. I highly recommend trying out their variety of beers and ciders. My personal favorite was the dark beer.
Rue Masson, located on the avenue, has a charming small-town feel with a variety of stylish bistros and brasseries, as well as traditional Quebec casse croutes and cremeries.
I have been quite impressed with the microbreweries in Montreal so far.
