Bertucci's Chocolates - Saint Helens

I always prefer to support small businesses, but I know they can be hit or miss. This place is definitely a hit! I tried the pastrami on rye sandwich and it was fantastic. The bread was soft and fresh, the pastrami was lean and cut perfectly, and the lettuce and tomato were fresh and delicious. It also came with a pickle, a bag of chips, and I purchased a caramel chocolate square for under $9. You can't beat that deal!

This cozy little store offers a variety of candies, sandwiches, and even has a surprising selection of music accessories. In addition to delicious food and treats, they have a corner in the back that resembles a small music store, stocked with essentials for musicians such as strings, drumsticks, and cables, as well as a few basic instruments like ukuleles, harmonicas, and recorders. This unique combination makes it a great spot to visit if you're in need of essentials and are considering heading into Portland. Hopefully this review will help others discover this hidden gem.

Yesterday for National Grilled Cheese Sandwich Day our office enjoyed lunch from Bertucci's. We had both their original and Gourmet Grilled Cheese and enjoyed those. We also had soup, a grilled chicken salad and a turkey club. We got our order to go and appreciated the pickles bagged individually so they did not get the sandwiches wet. All enjoyed their food and we will be back for some of their desert options soon!

We stumbled upon this restaurant while parking to visit an antique mall and were pleasantly surprised by what we found inside. The variety of offerings here was overwhelming, from delicious truffles and chocolates to locally sourced Tillamook ice cream. I was particularly impressed by the 'Reuben' sandwich I ordered, which was absolutely delicious thanks to the homemade thousand island dressing. The addition of a pickle slice and a bag of chips made the meal even better. To top it off, we were surprised to see Santa Claus having lunch in the back, adding to the fun and surreal experience. Overall, this is a great spot to grab a tasty lunch.
