Went here for a lunch with a small group fantastic cooking, good ambience and nice wine. Great service.

We had a most excellent meal- owner couldn’t do enough for us or the children we were a party of 4 adults and 3 children aged 3,6 8). Made the children feel really welcome which made our evening tea enjoyable. Everything cooked to perfection and the local wine was superb. We thought it to be great value. Definitely one to stop by if you are in the area.

We try to have lunch at Le Saint Genis on our first Sunday back at our holiday home. We were there today and were welcomed back by the owner. The food was fantastic as always, I just wish I could have eaten more but I don't hae a big appetite at the moment. The starters were really nice and because I don't like goats cheese it was swapped for a different cheese with the asparagus all was very tasty. My husband had the onion tart and he said it was delicious. For mains I had the pork and hubby had the fish of the day (cod . We both enjoyed our main meals very much. Dessert well it would be rude not to ; I had the Creme Brulee and husband had the Tiramisu, both were very enjoyable. We will be back again soon.

We’ve been visiting this restaurant for the last three years or so and we have never been disappointed. The menu changes regularly to reflect the best of the local and seasonal produce available and is always imaginative and high quality as is the wine list. Whilst I agree with the reviewer who called this restaurant unpretentious it is nevertheless a gem! Please give it a try.

C'est une véritable découverte que ce très bon restaurant à Saint Genis : accueil simple et très sympathique, cuisine traditionnelle mais revisitée avec beaucoup de gout et de finesse.Service très accessible et très compréhensif avec un excellent rapport qualité-prix sur des produits frais et cuisinés à la fois avec finesse et inventivité.Franchement, une des meilleures tables de la région.On a passé un excellent moment.Vaut le détour !
