Allo Allo - Saint-Gaultier

An enjoyable visit. We arrived at 1:30 to find they had run out of the plat du jour so had to opt for a choice from a La carte. The porc ribs were very tasty and chips lovely. Popular with the locals the restaurant seemed to need a lift re decor. The seat cushions in plastic bags weren’t ideal for those wearing shorts or dresses. The owner manager was very visible bossing leading the restaurant team.

This restaurant looks low key but serves very fresh food in a friendly setting. Very reasonable prices(12 euros for starter, main and dessert) and very friendly and efficient service.

Super accueil ! Tout est délicieux, peu de choix de plats mais tout est frais, simple et bon. Cadre très sympa, avec une terrasse donnant sur la place du champ de foire !

La charmante Sylvie nous a accueillis à l'improviste, nous étions 6. Elle était de bonne humeur, conviviale et efficace. Nous nous sommes régalés de frites de carpes, d'escargots, de magrets de canard et de sandre à la crème. Le tout accompagné d'un bon vin que nous avons pu déboucher grâce à un ami de Sylvie. Une belle étape lors de notre périple à vélo.

The simple but very good meal for a very reasonable price my wife ate a very tender netting we the well served burgers and the cooking of the perfect meat as we had asked we will return to this restaurant I think the boss will recognize me because we have laughed all together a chef of retired kitchen
