Restaurant Chateau Lafitte

Recently moved to a new and modern location, this restaurant still has an old school feel, with "mature" servers and largely senior clientele. The food is okay, but not special...the croque monsieur that I had there was, well, a bit odd...made with sliced sandwich bread and not terribly exciting ham.

We ordered a pizza. It arrived undercooked. The cheese wasn't even melted. It was obvious! We called the waitress (an old hag) who said to us: Well... what do I do with this? (as dumb as they come). The pizza came back halfway cooked!!! We felt like we were being laughed at and we should have just left without hesitation.

Cela fesait longtemps que je voulais aller manger dans leur resto à cette nouvelle adresse (autrefois sur la rue Saint-eustache).Les 2 brochettes de souvlaqui au porc m'ont pas impressionnés.Le porc avait de l'air comme si un rouleau compresseur avait passé dessus. (On est loin de ceux d'Arahova !).J,y ai rencontré 2 autres personnes qui m'ont dit être eux aussi déçu de leur brochettes au poulet.Je n'ai pas eu encore la possibilité d'essayer leur pizza, mais je crois que s'est plus leur spécialité.

This is the best pizza in town! The dough is freshly made and they are generous with the toppings. Whenever I'm in the area, this is my favorite place to go.
