Nice challenging course, well kept through September. Pierre up front was great.

The guy who runs the pro shop needs to find a new job or fill the hole that he has in his life because I’ve never had to deal with someone who was just straight up this rude. Maybe it’s because we used a Groupon? Still not sure why but he was miserable from showing up for our t time (hour early), asking basic questions like is the range open, to not giving us scorecards, and a classic visit to our cart on 17 accusing us of going in the fairway based on gps. Mind you, this is the same gps that says your 120 yards away from a spot when reality youre 200. Matt, loved the course, rangers, and hot dog lady but your attitude sucks and we will not be back after an experience like that. Take a chill pill.9 19 Update: I honestly would love to know if the unhinged individual was the owner Matt , as he either responds with love and stroking himself if you give a 5 star review, or condescending aggressive remarks if you leave a 1 star review even after a legitimately bad time. Look, this guy ruined our golf experience, wouldn 't help us with a cart, and when we did finally search around for the cart guy ourselves, were given a cart with a flat tire. This guy literally only cares about his reputation, and not the actual golf experience. All he does is make excuses. Save your money, there 's a lot of courses in Michigan.

Update in Sep. 2023: Wow. I am not sure if the owner has listened to my suggestion or not, but finally the carts are all electric, no more stinky exhaust fume. Really appreciate it. Hat's off to the owner. The golf course is as immaculate as possible. Beautiful fairways and greens. The course itself is just picturesque.Update in 2021: Upgraded to a 3 star. I tried this course again today. As soon as I got in, I asked for an electric bike per owner's suggestion below. They told me to pay $10. What? I felt like I need to pay $10 more if I don’t want to inhale the exhaust fume from the carts. Unfair. Now our whole group stinks due to the smelly exhaust fume from the carts. Please, update your carts with electric ones.beautiful course. Probably one of the best hidden gems in Michigan. Challenging, but the 2nd half is forgiving. The reason for 1 star is the fume spitting carts. Please upgrade your carts with electric carts, or at least do something about the terrible exhaust fumes. My nose is completely congested now. True, it may be okay to others, but to me, I probably won’t play here again unless the carts are replaced with electric carts or something. The club house staff are really nice and the course is really well maintained. I just wish the owner replaced the old carts. Just my opinion, but all my buddies also said the same thing. Please listen to our input. Thank you. Again, the staff at the pro shop are really professional. Sorry for 1 star rating, but the exhaust gas from the carts just ruins a fantastic golf course.Reply to the response from owner below: I am sorry, but all the carts were the same. Basically it's because they are all gas-powered carts. I don't mean to unfairly influence overall ratings or anything, but please next time when you replace those carts, think about electric carts. These days lots of golf courses switch to electric carts because of exhaust fume that annoys golfers. Thanks.

Just played here with 3 others today 9/4, the older gentleman that was running the pro shop was so rude that none of us will ever be coming back again. He probably drives off a bunch of business which is a shame because I love this course and it is very well maintained. He was rude to us the moment we got there till we left, very unprofessional. I feel bad for the owner missing out on business due to the lack of respect from this sour employee.

Always a good time when we go, course is in great shape. Great rates, awesome staff, good eats too. Matt is always helpful and really attentive to his customers.
