Le Cantou - Saint-Cirq-Lapopie

We visited this place, but apart from an entree salad they were unable and unwilling to accommodate us further. They said the wok noodles in their only other vege dish were cooked in butter and they were unwilling or unable to change that. As this was all translated for us by our travelling companions, maybe something was missed, but I wasn't impressed by that. There was no Buddha bowl or vegan smoothie. Anyway we had the entrée salad and it was ok. It's a very lovely spot and maybe others will have better luck. Updated from previous review on 2022-04-27

Cozy place, nice staff Pretty sure it's only open in the summer

A great restaurant with very nice staff! a great and original menu! very good service for a table of 11 :)a child menu with lasagna ( thanks for avoiding the usual fries nuggets.) we will come back ! to do if you pass through Saint cirq without hesitation!

Welcome a little rider at noon(time of booking:) go to settle in the courtyard behind I come! well caught by very nice and friendly waitresses. we opt for flat-dessert formulas (two to 23€, one to 14,50€) of tasteful dishes: carpaccio de beef, filet de saint pierre; Successful desserts: perfect with nuts, cheese cake with speculos, chocolate-pralined sparkling. very satisfied with our stop in this small tourist restaurant.

Very pleasant staff and delicious cuisine in a beautiful place. I recommend this restaurant!
