Tompkins Riverside - Saint Charles

I was sitting with my best friends a few weeks ago. the fixed price menu is worth 100%, especially in consideration of the super quality and the best part? they do as much as they are in the season and draw from within 50 miles. theu also seriously understand theor wein pairings. reservations are recommended, and I can see why! so amazing eat and service!

Tompkins Riverside aims to please and that’s just what they did for my mom and I today. From being greeted at the beautiful quaint outdoor entrance with a nice smile, to pleasantries by all the staff, to the delicious, fresh, homemade food, our hearts and bellies are full. I had the crab cake which was delectable with a nice crisp on top. Mom had the smash burger. It all melts in your mouth. I could eat those homemade French fries everyday. Their ketchup is even made fresh by hand! Seriously, you have to give this place a try if you haven’t! I promise, you will not be disappointed. Susie served us and what a joy she was! She really cares and wants you to have a good experience. So knowledgeable about the items on the menu ready to help guide your taste buds in the right direction. Excellent service. We were on a bike ride and went too another resteraunt first. They had open tables but would not seat us because of staff issues. We went across the street and found this place. Got in right away, sat outside on the shaded patio. We were helped immediately. The staff was very friendly.We tried a crab bacon dip which was very good.Had a couple margaritas, plenty of alcohol and flavor. We will definitely return.

Tompkins is Top Notch! The banquet space at Tompkins has such an elegant and rustic feel to it. The history of the building adds to the experience as well! (Ask your waiter or waitress about the back story of the restaurant). The bourbon selection at Tompkins is DEEP as well. If you enjoy trying new bourbons this is the place for you to be. The staff turns tasting bourbon into an experience by their deep knowledge and understanding of whats being served. Tompkins is where I developed my love for Angels Envy (try the rye) Tompkins also has great specials that constantly keep you coming back. There is truly something for everyone at Tompkins. If you are looking to book a Wedding banquet, a birthday party, or enjoy a blissful lunch or dinner then Tompkins Riverside is a clear choice

My daughter and I went there to celebrate her birthday. Amazing atmosphere, tasty starters (pork belly , and the host/manager Kyle B had the best energy! The beef I ordered (from their special/limited menu was unfortunately very tough like jerky, but Kyle B made it right and removed it from our bill without me even asking. These folks really know how to treat their guests. Even though there was the small mishap, we’ll most definitely return to try their normal menu. Kudos to your team! :
