Chenoy's Deli - Saint-Charles-Borromee

The restaurant was clean and tidy with decent food and convenient parking. The staff were not very friendly and the prices were a bit high for the style of restaurant.

If you have never tried a smoked meat sandwich from Montreal, you need to add it to your bucket list. If you enjoy pastrami and corned beef sandwiches, you will love smoked meat. Imagine the best NYC pastrami sandwich you've ever had, but multiply the taste by three. There are two options when it comes to seasoning - traditional and old-fashioned. I have been enjoying Montreal smoked meat for over 50 years, from famous names like Brown Derby, Deli Boys, Schwartz's (owned by Celine Dion), and Jarry Deli. This restaurant on the west side of Montreal offers homestyle smoked meat in a unique and unpredictable atmosphere. The interior resembles a diner, but with great sandwiches, fries, and pickles.

I have visited this restaurant multiple times with my family. It is a great choice for a family deli with a diverse menu. During my last visit, I ordered a plate with a smoked meat sandwich, hun brochette, and a souvlaki brochette, served with rice and fries. It was a satisfying combination for a hungry appetite. This deli is known for its quality in the area. They also serve a complete breakfast menu. I would recommend this deli, even though it may be considered average.

The service was excellent. The Server even took some time to explain what interesting sites and things to do they had in the area. I had the Bagel and Lox platter and it was one of the best I've ever had, the smoked salmon and bagel were so fresh. My husband had the veal parmesan with pasta; he found it was very tasty.
