Very friendly service, great location, very good food.

A miss! this was our 31st travel to st barths and we were at this place when the restaurant le rivage was called. we tried it after it was opened again as amis about 3 4 years ago. it wasn't very good at that time. After hearing the new chefs we decided to try again and we are very excited. that was not worth it. a smoked bourbon potion that made sound really good. 1 hour later, after the appetizers were almost ready, they asked if we wanted to cry. we reminded them of the cocktail we never received. they quickly brought them into a very unusual glass that they have quite a lot to use a rough. we could say that the drink had no smogness and it was super strong. I drink regularly old-fashioned and that was stronger. turns out that the smoke machine was broken so that instead they used makers brand? they didn't sue us after they asked how we liked it. the starters were really good (fish krudo) and decent (octopus.) the main course of cod was extremely over boiled, as was the sea bass. the dover sole was good. the people were very nice and have tried hard, but they don't ignore the cocktail order if they can't do it like the bourbon they say. also ask for crying when they order her to eat, not 1 hour later. the restaurant decor and ambiente is excellent. I asked the server to tell us about the cook and she said she was only 1 month there and he's a very nice guy. she said he made the menu, but it sounded like he wasn't there to cook it. if they order wee, krudo fish and dover sole, they probably have a great experience. this was our 6th evening dinner on our current trip and by far the last place so far (by a big marge)

Beautifully decorated restaurant with the perfect settings. Delicious dishes of excellent quality ingredients, perfectly cooked. Great deserts as well. Service is also excellent. Very romantic and chill. Hard place not to come back for lunch or dinner.

Exceptional cuisine, entertainment, service! Perfect way to start your trip. Highly recommended.
