Marble Slab Creamery

I stumbled upon this delightful spot for some creamy, delicious ice cream and ended up returning two nights in a row. The service was fantastic, with all the young servers handling the bustling crowd impressively. It was a typical summer scene, filled with both locals and tourists. The prices were just what I anticipated. I highly recommend this place!

The food has great flavors, but the service leaves much to be desired. It's usually staffed by teenagers who seem disinterested and would rather be anywhere else. When you combine this with the higher-than-average prices, I'd recommend looking for alternatives. In fact, there's a grocery store right next door where you can buy a gallon of ice cream for less than what you'd pay for a cone at Marble Slab.

This is a nice spot to enjoy some homemade ice cream, but it's definitely not for those on a budget. They offer a wide selection of flavors, which is great, and there are plenty of toppings to choose from. However, I found $21 for two small servings to be a bit excessive. I did leave a $2 tip, but I still feel it was a little pricey. If you go, I recommend choosing the kids' size portions instead.

I ordered a milkshake, but it was runny, and the ice cream toppings were disappointing. I asked for a strawberry cheesecake with caramel, but instead received vanilla ice cream with large chunks of frozen strawberries. There was no graham cracker or cheesecake, and the strawberry syrup was overwhelming. Overall, it didn't live up to the impressive presentation on the website.
