Oceano Bistro - Clayton - Saint Albans

It's our anniversary (a significant one) and we decided to dine at a restaurant which would remind us of where we were living when we first were married

My fiance and I went to Oceano Bistro a while back for Clayton restaurant week, it was too good of a deal to pass up.

"Nobody puts Baby in the corner!" Being from New England, I was excited to find a restaurant that touts itself for its fresh fish (it's called Oceano).

Excellent selection of beers, reliably delicious food and great service. If you don't have a reservation, it's usually easy to secure a seat at the bar for a full dining service. A neighborhood favorite.

Whoa. Yellowtail tasted way too "fishy" and the so-called pastrami shortribs were greasy pastrami. Both were $ 30. Robbery. We gave our feedback to the bartender (we were sitting at the bar) and he made no effort to "get it right". I will not be back. The dining room was nice ... parking was awful in the neighborhood.
