Au Bon Coin - Sailly-sur-la-Lys

We eat here often because I travel in france for work, so even if we have to make a detour. We always try to eat here once! We've been coming for almost 20 years, when it was a small village restaurant. Now it has become stronger and stronger at that time and has always remained an excellent value for money. the owner/hostse is always as welcoming, as are many other staff members who have been there for years. The food is prepared by the husband. . . It's always delicious, typical French cuisine. We ate here on Monday, August 11. . . .

I stayed here for business with another colleague. at the right corner was recommended by a local for its food and good value for money. the room in which I stayed was large enough with two bedrooms overlooking the main road. I expected a noise of traffic but it was actually very quiet at night and there was not much traffic in the afternoon either. three of us had dinner at the hotel's restaurant; food was excellent and the portions were generous. The restaurant's layout is more bistro than gastronomic, but it's okay. Breakfast was made up of very fresh breads, croissants and chocolate breads. Basic but tasty. If I stayed more than a day or two, I would probably want something different (I don't know if there's a choice). free parking next to the large church.

Visit on January 1, 2024, unpleasant waitress shouts at customers, she was at the end of her life. Despite this, a good meal with good meat but cold mash when we received the dishes. Service: 1
