Yasmeen's - Saginaw

Ok so first off the guy was super nice. I got hummus, baba ganoush and garlic with a bag of pita he had just made the hummus. To be honest the hummus was not my favorite ever, it was too much tahini and not enough garlic but smooth and decent. The baba was excellent, so was the garlic and the prices were good. Next time I'll get a sandwich. Yum.

This is a food bar inside a grocery store. There's some seating inside and outside. The workers were very nice. The food was ok. Got the mixed platter combo and lamb mandi. Something had an off taste, maybe the rice. Lamb was cooked well but not much flavoring. Mixed platter meat was dry. They don't provide sauce, just garlic. Got some ranch which was eh. Fries were very good.

Food is very fairly priced and good quality. The gentleman working the kitchen is incredibly nice and helpful with the menu. Building is small and a bit run down, small market style. Ordered pita chip and humus. The pita chips were burnt pretty bad, not really edible but simple mistake. Humus is authentic, not the American made stuff. Overall I will frequent this place!

You get a lot of food for the money, but the taste leaves something to be desired. The chicken schwarma wrap was okay, the flavor was decent but the chicken texture was a little off and the wrap was greasy. The garlic sauce that came with it was solid though and was a good dip for the wrap. Fattoush was fresh, but the dressing was quite light and didn't have much flavor. The gyro and grape leaves were both okay, one of the better things we ordered but still left a bit to be desired. Hummus didn't have much flavor and the pita bread was also a bit lacking. Baklava and turkish coffee were pretty good and I might come back for those, but I would not personally return for the food. I wanted to leave a more positive review because the people there were friendly, nice, and provided quick service, but I was just quite disappointed in the food.

Order all vegetarian items falafel, grape leaves, hummus, fattoush salad, garlic dip, baba ganoush, and baklava and everything was delicious! Going to make this my go to spot for takeout.
