Famous Dave's -b-que - Saginaw

Great dining experience at this restaurant! I enjoyed a fantastic meal with a wide variety of options on the menu, and everything was excellent. My favorite dish was their mac and cheese, which had a wonderful balance of flavors, enhanced by the addition of jalapeños. Food rating: 4/5.

I had high hopes for Dave's, but unfortunately, it had an old, musty smell that was really off-putting. The booth seats were worn and pulled out, which gave a neglected vibe. The food was disappointing, with my meal being overcooked and dry, and the blackened meat was just as bad. On a positive note, the service was excellent, but the food simply didn’t live up to expectations.

Very pleasant! a little early lunch. the atmosphere is welcoming, the radio mostly is not terrible, and the staff is very friendly. especially our waitress was very relaxed, warm and really funny to talk to them. I was very impressed by her (although I missed the name). definitiw above the usual percentage i. of three on my party was one of us 't happy with their court after what she had expected on the menu, but the other two of us ate each bite, and it was just a tad too much food (which, honest, is perfect). no lack of taste, no aromas were old. the only real contrasts in the opposite to pros would be the radio and the menu says fries, but they actually have keile. a good example for those in which communication is subjective, but the terminology should be consistent for a clear communication. anyway, no big thing. They were good. only not correctly listed. all in all, if they 'd eliminate the occasional misery in the radio, easily five stars. I will see this place in future!

I had the 3 meat plate. 2 servings of the chopped pork, 1 of the chicken, and my 2 sides were garlic red skin potatoes and the baked beans. The service was great, but the food was not what I was hoping for. The chopped pork had a lot of fat in it, and was heavily salted. I am visiting from GA, and no self respecting southerner would be embarrassed to serve this as chopped pork. The chicken was dry and almost like jerky, hard to chew, and very hard to separate into bite size pieces. The beans looked like and tasted like doctored up pork n beans from the can. The garlic red skin potatoes, however, were the pest part of the meal.
