Saddle River Cafe

A great cozy gem!!! This Cafe is beautifully decorated, ambiance invites you to stay and enjoy the delicious plates, bowls, desserts and coffees they offer. It's really nice to have brunch here. They have vegetarian( you can add protein if you like, such a corn beef or chicken) and gluten free options. Staff is amazing, really friendly and attentive. Food was excellent, well prepared with an exquisite flavor. We love this place, everyone must try!

Great for breakfast/brunch. We had a really nice brunch here on a rainy Sunday morning. There is both inside seating and a covered patio so it 's good for all weather (easy to park as well). We enjoyed the huevos rancheros special which was so flavorful and served in a neat ceramic dish. We were also very pleasantly surprised by how good the short stack pancakes were they were light delicate but also sweet and with the syrup were just perfect. Simple but effective definitely. The inside is modern and clean with lots of plant decor. There is nice spacing between tables so we didn 't feel crowded. Overall, I would highly recommend for breakfast. The menu selection is a little limited (only 1 sweet option: pancakes) and portions at first look small but actually everything hits the spot and we left feeling full.

Food is exceptional and the staff is kind. A bit pricey esp for random stuff like fries and smoothies. I go when I want a treat and some nice time to chill in a place with good vibes. Highly recommended.

The food at this restaurant was delicious and high-quality. I enjoyed avocado toast with eggs and a refreshing orange, carrot, and ginger juice. The ambiance of the place was lovely and well-maintained. The service was exceptional, with friendly and attentive staff.

I will give this restaurant another chance, but I was disappointed this time. The table did not receive water to start, and I questioned the skills of the chefs. I ordered the short rib egg bake with potato hashbrown, requesting three eggs but only receiving two overcooked ones with no yolk. The short rib was shredded and dry, topped with melted Swiss cheese, and the food was cold. The omelette lacked flavor and was flat like a frittata. The lox plate needed more lox for the price. The menu and drinks looked good, but we were not offered ketchup or butter. The service was lacking. I hope next time the food will be better and hotter. The restaurant has plenty of parking and a nice BYOB policy.
