To start off on a positive note, the order process and pick-up were very pleasant. I was only able to give this order 2 stars due to the appearance and taste of the cake. The cake was very dry and had tons of frosting in between and around the cake. The decoration was supposed to be candy overload, but it was very disappointing, there was barely any candy. We ended up fixing the cake by buying our own candy and redecorated the cake, but then we got the taste and we were disappointed. It pains me to write this because I love to support small businesses, maybe it was an off day in the baking. Best of luck in the future.

I needed a custom cake done for my girlfriend's birthday. I already had some idea of what I wanted but not completely. I found Cammy and other places but decided to go with her as she was fast and ready to help me out right away. We spoke and then texted and she really helped me get some amazing details that I hadn't thought of. She was readily available to text and always responded within a day. She had lots of options and was upfront with me about everything. When we had finished talking about it and I decided everything I wanted I had a clear picture of it in my head. Honestly thought I might be disappointed just because I had set a pretty high bar (I just wanted to it to be perfect haha). But, man, the cake was better than we could have imagined! My girlfriend was blown away and exactly what I wanted. Like it looked so damn good! And it tasted great too! I chose the Swiss buttercream but I will definitely try the other options next time! haha I'm more of the cake eater between the both of us and what was most important for me was for the cake to be esthetically pleasing. I wanted my girlfriend to really be impressed, but damn, I didn't expect it to look that good! Thank you so much for the awesome cake! You've got some amazing skills! So talented!

Its my second time ordering a cake from Cakes by Cammy. It was a great hit the first time and even bigger hit the second time. If you like a unique tasty cake or cupcakes this is where to find them. I plan to continue ordering all my cakes or cupcakes from Cakes by Cammy.

I called this home baker a week before I needed a cake. Told her what I wanted she said no problem. All she had to do was order the cake pans. I wanted a 4 and 3 for my husband's bday and she was going to deliver it and I was willing to pay her fee. I called her 2 days ago to make sure all was well and my cake was a go for today 12/12. She responds yes. She was supposed to deliver it at 11 and I get a message at 10am 12/12 saying she was behind and would be here at 1. So I called her. She said she had a little difficulty but did not say what it was till I asked. She says oh the 4 is backwards is that ok. I'm like huh? I was upset and said ok not wanting to be rude. The cake was a surprise for my husband so I had to break the news to him that his surprise was now jacked up. He was not happy about it and let her know she would need to make a new cake to make it right. Cammy agreed but still was trying to fix the messed up one. She offered to still deliver it for free or discount the cake if I picked it up. I advised ok but after several attempts to reach her I was like forget it. 2020 happened again! No one wants a backwards number cake on their birthday. I can tell this baker is young by the way she responded. I'm just trying to support small business during this time and she lets me know the day I needed my cake that the number was backwards when I reached out 2 days ago. Unacceptable on every level! She says it's not her fault the pan came wrong and was still trying to sell me a backwards cake. So Cammy because your professionalism is non existent and you didn't answer my calls when I called you back. We don't want a corrected cake. Oh she offered to flip the cake over and sell it even though it wouldn't be presentable. This is no way to do business. So this is a lesson learned for you suga. Please let your customers know up front when something goes wrong and they will be more inclined to work with you again because of your honesty and professionalism. I should not have had to ask what went wrong. So I had to buy a store bought cake for my husband on his birthday and order a fresh one for tomorrow all because honesty did not play a huge factor with my initial order with Cakes by Cammy. I wish you well and hope you learn from this experience.
