Adanberto’s - Sacramento County

My family have been coming to this location for many years, through many name changes, etc. We'd always been knocked out by the great taste at a great price. However, seven months seems to suffice to see everything on the menu skyrocket in price. I'm sure we can blame inflation to some degree, but I did not expect to pay sit-down restaurant prices for a drive through grub. There is a universality to restaurants of this sort, wherein you can expect significant menu overlap amongst various chains and locations, and Adanberto's definitely fits that mold. I'm partial to another chain out of Southern California called Los Jilberto's (which I've also reviewed on here, I believe) and can say that the rolled tacos with guacamole and the cheese enchilada plate are identical to those served by Adanberto's. I'm partial to California Burritos, and can say that the specimen offered here is good, but not my favorite. I always order it with extra cheese, but as yet have not gotten what I asked for to the extent that I no longer order that item here. Their Flying Saucer is a wonder to behold, though, and mainstays like the aforementioned rolled tacos with guacamole are always a treat. The inflated prices have caused us to cut back on the frequency of our visits, but after a long week when you reach a point where you don't want to cook anything, Adanberto's still delivers on fast, filling and tasty Mexican food.

The food hit the spot. It was amazing 10/10. Definitely recommend and prolly will be back at 3am again

Service was awful this morning. Ordered a breakfast plate (should cost no more than $9) and the cashier tried to charge me over $13 saying the prices are different from what's shown on the menu. Makes no sense and she didn't even give me the receipt.

What happened to the spot? They have doubled in price and only give you half as much meat...why???? There are several of these restaurants around Sac. but this one was always the best. Fries are fresh, plenty of sour cream, cheese and guacamole, but where is the beef. The fried now retails to $17 after tax, and have half the meat. Not good not good at all. I am sad and disappointed. And about to order an additional portion of just meat for my fries. And probably will not return... sadly.

Customer service. What's that. They don't repeat your order back to you. I just went in and wanted 2 Pepsi's, 4 churros, 2 #24s and 2 chicken tacos. Had to ask twice for a second Pepsi. Didn't realize until I got home half my order wasn't correct and things were missing. Definitely will drive farther for better. Not coming back been coming since 2007 and business is getting worse over the years. Update ur drive thru instead of your landscaping. Business has gotten worse over the years.
