Tomato Alley Free House - Sacramento

This restaurant may seem unpretentious, but it’s bright and innovative. The music selection is impressive—cool and just the right amount of edgy punk rock. The patio is small but comfortable. The hot dogs are modern and stylish, served on what appears to be house-made special buns. Their happy hour features a fantastic $9 special with a Montucky beer and any hot dog, which is an amazing deal! The pulled pork quesadillas are wonderfully complex, featuring pickles, red onions, and jalapeños—absolutely excellent. The cauliflower dish is also fantastic. While I haven’t tried the bao yet, I’m definitely planning to return for it!

A hidden gem in Sacramento! This is one of the best happy hour places in town! I highly recommend the pork belly bao—it's only $3 on their happy hour menu. And don't forget to add a cherry bomb! 10/10 would recommend! #beTheBestSteveYouCanBe

Fantastic neighborhood bar! They offer an excellent selection of draft beers and an impressive variety of canned options, along with several sake choices. The hot dogs are great, and the pork belly bao is a delicious bargain.

Best neighborhood bar in sac. They will go out of their way to make you feel welcome and have the menu to ensure everyone will find something they like. Cannot recommend more.

Great little spot with excellent food (at fair prices), a solid beer selection, and top notch service. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, highly recommend! You'll always have a great time here.
