Shady Lady - Sacramento

I have been here a few times and always enjoyed it. I went last night and felt like the bartender was evading serving me, then once I finally got my drink and went to sit at a table I was stopped very rudely by him and told I could not sit there as tables were for dining only. Well, I was planning on eating and had gone there specifically for the mushroom sliders. I passed on giving them that business as it seemed they didn’t want it. Also, if you have a large sign by the door saying to seat yourself, you could at least be polite when correcting guests that they cannot, in fact, seat themselves.

I cannot speak highly enough of this restaurant! I visited at night and the ambiance was fantastic, as was the attentive and friendly staff. They were engaging, knowledgeable, and fun. The drinks were delicious and the food was excellent.

The bartenders are friendly and the interior design of this restaurant is stunning! I visited for a holiday bar crawl and every drink I tried here was delightful.

I got a couple beers here after a concert. The Staff was friendly and the beer selection was decent.

This restaurant is truly a hidden gem! On a chilly morning, I decided to start off with a Hot Buttered Rum to warm up, and it did not disappoint. It was creamy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. For brunch, I ordered the breakfast sandwich which was tasty, although the hash browns were slightly lacking in seasoning. If you prefer more flavor, just ask for some salt and pepper. For my second drink, I tried the Zombie cocktail which was tropical, refreshing, and went down smoothly. I will definitely be returning to this place again in the future!
