Rio City Cafa Sacramento

Our server was very pleasant and has made excellent suggestions from the menu. She spent time with us to make recommendations and was attentive to our needs. It wasn't our first visit, but it was the best.

While our expectations were not really high because of the tourist nature of the old Sacramento area, Rio Cafe was nevertheless disappointing. A very loud table next to us did not help, but that was not the fault of the restaurant. The food was. It seemed like our food was long. A crab melt was hardly warm when it was served and does not appear in its appearance. An eggshell had to be returned because it tasted and seemed like it had long been sitting. Our waitress was good. But after returning there were no loans offered on our tab. Since the prices are calculated as $30 per person for brunch, the value was simply not for us.

Another delicious dinner at Rio City Cafe! We come here when we're in Sacramento, and we're never disappointed!

We had a 7pm meeting so made a 5:30 reservation and had plenty of time…. Equated to attentive waitress, reasonable kitchen time. We sat on the deck and it was nice being able to look over the river through the plastic protector sheets. It will be nicer when they can go away. My wife had the sword fish at the recommendation of our waitress and it was very good. I had the bourbon beef meal and was very satisfied. We had a glass of wine a a couple of beers… bill was reasonable so all in all a great dinner.

Sitting outside was very loud. Wish we could have been inside.
