Real Pie Company - Sacramento

I don't even know where to begin with this review...the restaurant consistently runs out of items early to mid-afternoon, making it impossible to purchase anything there. I gave up trying to buy anything from them over a year and a half ago. The door would close early, and they would practically slam it in my face. It became a running joke at home. Today, I called to see if I could reserve a pie or two over the phone and pay for it in advance. However, the staff informed me that they only had three pies left and couldn't hold one for me. They suggested I order three days in advance next time. I was frustrated because the whole point was to purchase something they had available. I decided that this restaurant is too big for me to do business with. My decision to take my patronage elsewhere won't make a difference to them. On the bright side, the staff was pleasant. I plan on visiting Nations after work today instead.

The frozen chicken pot pie is fantastic and their apple pie is always delicious. Everything on the menu is top-notch. The service is outstanding!

I ordered a Jumbleberry and Shepherd's pie and both were delicious. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I will definitely be coming back to try more pies!

We were so excited to find this place. Delicious Pot pies! Excellent Lemon meringue we bought and tried so many flavors! We’re going back. Excellent service, even the customers were enjoyable!! Thank you for your creations!

Always the best pies around. My faves are the seasonal root beer and thai coffee pies. Excellent milkshakes too
