Osaka Sushi - Sacramento

We had a fantastic dining experience with delicious food and wonderfully polite service, which truly enhanced our visit. Initially, we were served a flat soda, but the staff promptly fixed the issue. Arriving with hungry appetites, we were not disappointed. The happy hour menu was a great find, and the katsu chicken was crispy and satisfying, complemented by flavorful sides. While the dipping sauce was enjoyable, it wasn't the best I've ever tasted. The egg rolls and gyoza met our expectations. The downtown roll had a nice hint of spice, and the Hawaiian roll was a delightful choice with its distinct flavors. Overall, the meal was very affordable and the portions felt generous.

The inside was quite loud due to a large party, but we enjoyed the outdoor patio, which was a lovely spot to eat and relax. The presence of many Asian diners in the restaurant was a positive indicator—similar to seeing Italians in an Italian restaurant or Mexicans in a Mexican place. Although the service outside was somewhat slow, it was understandable given how busy they were; however, the staff remained friendly and attentive. Most importantly, the food was fantastic.

I absolutely love it! I'm head over heels for the food and the service! The staff is generally very nice. The sushi is among the best we've had, and we've tried quite a bit of sushi! We also tried the Spicy Pork Ramen, which was very good. While it might not be the absolute best, it certainly hits the spot if you're craving ramen. We’ll definitely be going back soon!

Great sashimi plate. 25 pieces for $36. Cleanliness could be better. Our table was sticky. The service was quick and pleasant. I would recommend this place to people wishing to get served quickly with good quality food and not overpriced. It is not crowded even on Friday evening.

Place was super busy but we were seated immediately and the service was ridiculously fast and polite. Food also was served super fast and it was fantastic. Hands down the best sushi I've had yet, wish it was closer to where I live because I'd eat there so often, honestly. Definitely going to be a SacAnime Saturday dinner tradition from now on.
