Mojo’s Local Tap Kitchen (formerly Cap Hop Shop)

Wow! My partner and I are huge BBQ enthusiasts. We recently made the long trip from New Jersey to Savannah, GA, just to enjoy the food at Wiley’s Championship BBQ. The pulled pork sandwich at the Capital Hop Shop is probably the best pulled pork we’ve ever tasted. I wish I could share a picture of it, but it disappeared pretty quickly! The cheesesteak was also fantastic. Aside from the delicious food, it was a really cool place to hang out!

I stumbled upon this place and was pleasantly surprised by how great it was. The atmosphere is cool, the staff is friendly, and the food and beer are fantastic. I had the half order of their charged fries, which were delicious, and I couldn't resist trying the beer as well—it was just as good! I would definitely recommend stopping by for lunch, and I will definitely return!

Edit: Mojo is good too! Good food altho the service was a bit slow for how few people were there. Reasonable prices, clean and nice aesthetic! I'd go back! Original: Good food! Great beer and even better beertender recommendations!

Excellent taproom with 40 selections on tap. This visit featured beers from LA County which were fun and intriguing. Food menu truly complimentary with what's on tap. Hospitality was spot on!

Best bang for buck beer and food in the downtown area. Normally have a Russian River beer on tap plus full kitchen.
