Mamma Susanna's Italiano - Sacramento

A hidden neighborhood gem. Located in River Park, wonderful menu, great wine and beer selection. Pasta and pizza at a fair price in a homey atmosphere. Very family friendly. Excellent wait staff.

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed the place. I was skeptical about the recent reviews I've seen but when we went it was great. Our food tasted great. The only negative things I have to say is that the sauce was lacking seasoning our pastas. Our servers were attentive and nice and the restaurant was very quiet with only a few people there. Overall we had a great experience and would recommend going here for any occasion. :

Mamma Susanna's was delicious! I had Chicken with Gorgonzola cream sauce my friend had Veal Marsala. He is still talking about it! The house salad and bread to dip in balsamic vinegar and olive oil was a real treat. They have generous portions sizes, enough for 2 meals. Great service and friendly staff. We will be back!

Pretty cozy place. Definitely make a reservation. Good pizza, Pastas, etc. Only thing I didn't care for was the gorgonzola sauce. No flavor at all in that sauce.Food: 4/5

If you're ordering off online run away quickly. Way over priced for the amount of food you get. The flavor is mid and portion size is weak. There is no love or care in the food which is a bit upsetting. Whatcha gonna do, you live and you learn. Just always a bit frustrating when you order food and it doesn't live up to expectations blah
