Upon entering, you would think you were visiting a car shop, but in fact, this humble, small deliciousness of the malice is a hidden gem south of Sacramento. This place has a East LA vibe in which they serve traditional tamales with exceptional taste. It's family owned, and the memorabilia that decorates its surrounding walls or transport you to many different events in time. This place has a small seating area and it also offers a restroom. They sell homemade cookies! They offer catering services from what I gathered. Definitely will be coming back on the weekend in the morning for some sweet, tamales coffee. Just remember they close on Sundays.
The best, absolutely the best. Their chicken enchiladas are out of this world and no matter how hard I try I will never be able to replicate theirs. Tamales are also delicious and just like grandma would make. Perfect ratio of meat to masa. Hibiscus tea is a must to have with your meal as is their salsa. Prices are reasonable, $6.00 for the enchiladas and you get two. This is one of those places you have to eat at at least once point in your lifetime. I true treasure to the Sacramento area, a hidden gem.
I enjoyed the wonderful customer service, in addition to the polish hotdog ? and tamales being on point.Food: 5/5
