El Forastero Mexican Food - Sacramento

Probably the worst El lock in town, ordered many things for my fiancée's birthday and it was all terrible. We ordered ham and cheese Burritos and found potato on it, although there was not that on the menu bit in the Burrito only to find eggshells in it also Tortilla was old and stale. When we got it, it was soggy and chicken was dry. Ordnete a carnitas taco and the bowls were stale and carnitas was boiled dry and bland. A combo plate ordered the wrong plate and again everything was bland and dry. What does this place have against taste?

So I am from the county Sonoma, where I am convinced that the best Californian Mexican foods are born. As a transplant to Sacramento, I have a hard time finding a good place to get good tacos. I hate avocado on my tacos I feel like it kills the taste and burn I expect from a good street taco; where everything you have is the pure taste of tortilla and meat with its onions Cilantro and Salsa compliments all combine together to create an explosion of taste in a bite. El Forastero delivers in amazing streets tacos that are simple and filled with the perfect ratio of meat to cilantro and onions they have 4 different salsas to choose and I live the darker hot with a slightly smokey taste, the rich depth is amazingly good with there Tacos. This has become my place for all my taco desire!

Asked if Menudo was fresh, they said yes. Meat is old. And hard. No taste at all

Place was clean, girl behind register was very polite and helpful, food was delicious. Flautas and Asada plates were excellent. Hot salsa was hot and agua de jamaica wasn?t too sweet, spent about $42 bucks, it was great! Thanks will be coming back soon!
