Dane's Bakery - Sacramento

I called last week to place an order and the person on the phone said she will take my order, but she didn't have the price. This time of the year they are always busy, place your orders ahead. I buy my Rosca de Reyes every year from here. I was a La Esperanza customer, but lost quality over time. Dane's has not dissapointeted me over time. Their conchas have canela on them , so yummy. All pastries are delicious.

I have gone here a few times to get some pastries, and I haven't been disappointed. The conchas are soft and delicious, the flan is firm and tasty and it smells like my childhood. I feel like the woman has always been friendly to me, but if you're like these other commenters and you're looking for someone to hug you, and treat you like royalty, well that's a ridiculous expectation and perhaps this isn't the establishment for you. Its a panederia, and they make delicious pastries. You take them home, get in your comfiest clothes, and you dip them in your coffee or hot chocolate and put on some cartoons or something equally enjoyable. Conchas are an experience not a quick bite, and here they are that high quality

Dane 's panaderia is the archetype of the hole in the wall gem . In an unassuming strip mall with an unassuming frontage this bakery makes the absolute best Mexican pan dulce in Sacramento. We love the conchas and the mantequadas especially but everything is perfect. Thank you, Dane 's panaderia. We 're glad we found you!

This place is a great neighborhood resource. I love their orange muffins, chocolate concha, mini cheesecakes, and mini corn cakes. Keep doing what your doing.

First time trying this place. The pastries are pretty good. I'm reviewing more about the lady's attitude. We walk in and we were the only people there. There's was no greeting or a smile, nothing. She just stands there without offering any help with the pastries like what's in them etc. If she is the owner it's such bad business to have a Shitty attitude like that. Now even though we liked the pastries we would never go back because of her attitude. She doesn't seem to understand that the customers keep her in business. So now she lost a new potential customer and I'd Never recommend this place to anyone because of her attitude!!
