Fielder's Choice Ice Cream - Sabattus

Without a doubt, this is the best ice cream in the world! Since we're not locals, we always make it a priority to stop by Fielder's Choice when we visit. Their flavors are absolutely delicious, and they even have great sugar-free options!

The portion sizes are enormous—I definitely got more than I expected! The seating area offers a nice combination of sun and shade. They have both hard and soft serve ice cream, along with plenty of options for sundaes and shakes.

I have to give this place a 5-star rating because they make their ice cream from scratch. I absolutely love homemade ice cream! The flavors I’ve tried so far are delicious and definitely worth the drive for a special treat. The coffee, strawberry, and peanut butter flavors are fantastic! Each time I indulge, it feels like a delightful dance for my taste buds. One thing to keep in mind is that the portion sizes can be quite generous—what they call a "baby scoop" is actually about two scoops! This is a must-visit when you're in Maine.

I'm an ice cream geek. Yes I love homemade ice cream. I wasn't disappointed by Fielders. The selection was great, both soft and hard. The ice sandwiches are big enough for 2. This will be a regular stop when I visit Maine. Probably on the way to MA. I love it!
