Eiscafé Cascata - Saarburg

A really hot day at the beginning of May, our walk through the beautiful Saarburg we ended. The main gastronomy site in Saarburg today has an incredible population density. Today the cash register of the locals rings, and for the evening, the service personnel will probably only lay their feet up. We still discover a small free table in front of the café. In view we have almost all the gastronomy around the Flüsschen Leuk in the middle of the beautiful square. A young employee will give us the tickets. We're both not friends of decorated ice cups. Good ice is often mistreated with some sweetened sauce. Luckily you can put your own ice cream together. The electronic “block” picks up: 1 small mineral water 2 balls of ice (my favorites yogurt nature and Malaga) for me. Pistazie, vanilla, mocha, walnut, cream for my sweets! The water comes down. Our ice cream in a glass cup with crispy wafer shortly afterwards! All varieties taste very good and we enjoy the last sun rays. Nice well-maintained café house style inside, not as small as I expected. Toilets flat and without complaint. In order to pay, the service is again quickly available. We are here with € 11,00.

Last Sunday we stood in a long serpent (it was sold out Sunday) in front of the ice cream café. Finally, we have half very small balls for 1.50 euros. At the end it was a bullet for 3 euros. This can no longer be justified by high energy prices. Ice was good, so 3 stars.

Were too two and only got us a drink to rest after our walk. Both operators made a strange impression. One very hectic, even though there was hardly anything to do. The other one very sintered. The voice sounded lustless, you are barely regarded as a guest. Too bad, because even though I remember the ice as quite tasty, such an attitude of the employees makes little desire to come again. Next time, I guess I'll just take it.
