Hectors Seafood - Rye

Great food. We had a long wait (over hour) but this was to expected on a long weekend. The grilled flake was delicious. The potato cakes were thick and tasted great. I would recommend this shop. It can be hit and miss on the...peninsula but Hectors are doing great!

Hectors used to be the best around. I was therefore so surprised when on Thursday the of January it was the worst I've ever had. Soggy chips, cold crab sticks, dry schnitzel. Perhaps they are under new management? I cannot see another reason why...it was so terrible.

Very nice fish and chips, and good service. All the orders were wrapped separately and labelled as requested.

Phone your order through as is easier than waiting anywhere from minutes to great burgers and fries, have had their fish a few times as well and they don't skimp on the sizes. Never had a bad meal.

The batter on the flake was excellent. not to thin, not to think.(just right) had minimum chips( could not eat them all) calamari rings, worth buying. they were huge.
