Johnny Boys Pancake House - Rutland

Lobster omelettes are back! I've been waiting years to see them on the menu again, and I was pleasantly surprised to find they are just as delicious as I remembered. Thank you, Johnny Boys!

This restaurant gets really busy on weekends, so be prepared to wait a little, but it's definitely worth it! I tried the house omelette, and it was excellent! We also shared a short stack of pancakes, and I think they might be the best pancakes I've ever had—so fluffy with a hint of vanilla. The politically incorrect signs throughout the place really enhance the atmosphere too!

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance for breakfast, and it turned out to be a fantastic decision! It might just be the best breakfast I've ever had! The omelets were thick and delicious, the fried potatoes were flavorful and cooked to perfection, and the English muffins were grilled with melted butter. The ambiance was pleasant, and the waitresses were friendly, efficient, and attentive. Overall, it was a wonderful experience!

Always a nice breakfast with friendly service. Even tho they obviously have regular customers, they wait staff treated all fair. Food is great. Prices a touch high but not too bad. Value it for food, cleanliness and kindness.

WOW ! Amazing food. Quick service. The omelets are the largest I've ever had. We both ordered an omelet but could easily have split one. The omelets have filling in every bite. Not your typical omelet. I had the 5 mushroom omelet with bacon and sausage in it. My partner had the pastromi reubin. Both were excellent. But required doggy boxes because we couldn't finish. Stopped here while traveling through but will definitely plan our future trips to stop here again.
