Gates - Rutland

Unfortunately, this restaurant does not cater to vegans. I was disappointed to see that the limited options for vegans have now been reduced even further. The only choices available are vegan cheese with beans, beetles, or a salad. It's surprising that in 2022, with so many herbivores around, they don't offer a greater variety of plant-based main courses such as a vegan burger or a plant-based hot meal.

Visited here before christmas to the breakfast and was nice. very clean and cozy with good eating, good portion maple syrup for pfancake. visited the garden center shop after the breakfast and very firm and fun.

At the arrival in restaurant said a sign waiting for eating 30 minutes of ordering.' there is an app (and free wlan) that could speed up the dinge. it was busy, but we found a table, chose our food and one of us. met the waiting queue to place our order. the wait was very slow, and it took half an hour to reach the front. Once the order has been made, they get the drinks to follow with food. actually, eating came ten minutes after the order, which was a beautiful surprise. the staff was friendly and helpful. my fish and chips were high on teig, low on fish, but the other person it had had had a decent piece of fish. the chips were nice. the burger presented a very great challenge, as it was too big to eat with fingering and crispy with a knife and fork to eat. it was very delicious. all in all, we had a pleasant meal, but I would imagine it would be another story in December. there is no possibility to book a table.

We were kindly greeted by a young man who led us at the arrival to our sitting at the doors. it was very organized and despite its extreme employment we sat in just 5 minutes. another young man named elia, who served our food, made space to our table of 9 in an enthusiastic and friendly way. he has led us through the app and suggested that this would help us to avoid, wait in the waiting queues and order on the road. this was always so simple and simple, and also very helpful. the same young man did not bring our food long after and I must say it was fantastic! if they are a fan of a hearty eating and large portions, then this is the ideal place for them! fantastic family atmosphere with great service and friendly staff who always like to help!

You could easily spend a whole day exploring Gates Garden Centre. Why not indulge in a fantastic meal at The Garden Restaurant? With an abundance of plants and gifts to browse through, and a visit to the Farm Shop for more goodies is essential.
